Paint peeling off the walls, Service is non-existent. No clean towels and no clean bed linen Positive: It's a great location at the top of The Walk on JBR. Excellent access to The Walk restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Kitchen is well equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. However, you'd expect that anywhere you go, nothing outstanding. The best thing about this apartment is the location. Negative: Paint is peeling off the walls all around the apartment from every wall, in every room. It's like a band or rot or damp going all the way around and it's crumbling and falling to the floor making a real mess. Furniture is the bare minimum; it's sparse. A large apartment, but empty and echoes. A big NO NO... I stayed for 2 weeks and they do not change towels nor bed linen. I did ask (by eMessage), but they said they provide a towel for each person upon check-in. They also say they have clean bed linen upon check in, but they don't change it whilst you're there. OK, if you're staying for a few days, that's no problem. But I stayed for over 2 weeks. Sorry, just not good enough. They should at least change the bed linen and towels once per week. Bins not emptied either and no information about where I could empty them. Imagine that after 2 weeks! This felt like a property company has bought the apartment from a private owner, put a maid in there for an hour (no more than that) , and then let it out to me without properly getting it ready to rent. If you just want a basic room and nothing else, then it's a "maybe" because Service is non-existent. I stayed in Dubai for a month, there's no way I could have stayed in this room for a month with this level of service. I checked out and stayed elsewhere. It's a shame because I know JBR very well and I love the location. I have photographs and they're nothing like the images they post on Booking.com
